How to Change a Tire on a Toyota Prius?

Fortunately, changing a tire on your Toyota Prius is not a difficult matter. The spare is relatively light, easy to handle and located in your trunk, under the center deck board along with your lug wrench and scissor jack. It is a very good idea to become familiar with the location of your tire, tools, jack and jack point locations before you get a flat. You do this by studying how to operate your jack, in your owners manual.
Remember to always keep your spare tire in good condition. Make sure it is always inflated and that it is at the proper pressure, or psi at all times. The psi will be located in your owners manual and also on the sidewall of your spare tire. You should always carry your cars manual in your glove compartment, or at least photocopy important sections such as changing a flat, and keep them in a binder in your car at all times.
